Driftwood Sailboat Trinket
$20.00

Give old sails a new purpose. This sailboat is made from a sail taken from a Lightning sailboat that races on Green Bay every week and some weekends in summer. Driftwood, fabric, and retired sails are combined to make this cute trinket, a great gift for sailors.

These are one of a kind, so what you see is what you get.

It’s not about perfection; it’s about taking the time to slow down and enjoy the present moment. Every piece is hand-made and perfectly imperfect. If that’s not your style, please don’t purchase anything. All proceeds from the sale will directly support my sailing habit.

These are double crochet and use an H hook. They are 100% cotton and measure approximately 6 inches wide by 6 inches tall. The colors listed on the skeins are woods, olive, and bruschetta.

I made these dishcloths using a double crochet stitch and an H hook. I created them during the fall, while I was visiting my family in Columbus, Ohio, for Thanksgiving. They are hand-made and perfectly imperfect. If that’s not your style, please don’t purchase these.

how it began

If you’re a sailor, then you know that sailing is about 90% chill and 10% panic. I needed something to fill the chill time between destinations. My boat bestie would bring her crochet hook, which inspired me to do the same. I mostly find it difficult to stay put on a long passage, there’s always a sail to trim, but it definitely fills the time.
